Meet the Founders
Joanne and Lizzy came to Mah Jongg through different experiences, but they discovered the same truth: gathering to play can be a powerful source of healing, connection, and impact.
Both understood personally how community carries people through difficult seasons. Mah Jongg gave them a space to slowdown, reconnect, and find joy alongside purpose. Together, they created Mahj in the Moment to offer that experience to others.
Mahj in the Moment is not simply about bringing Mah Jongg sets to an event. It is about creating the conditions for something meaningful to happen—whether that means reconnecting with friends, celebrating a milestone birthday, strengthening a friendship, honoring someone’s memory, or raising support for an important cause.
